Our Story

Binary Winter Press was founded in 2006 by illustrator Cody Vrosh and writer Sheatiel Sarao. Our original intent was world domination, but since then we've realized that having a vehicle for a our DIY publishing efforts and screen printing machinations may actually be more fun. Plus, we haven't gotten around to building an army of killer robots just yet (and everyone knows you can't rule the world until you've got one.)

We started off making books and originally made a few screen printed designs based on our stories. Our first illustrated novel, "The Irrelevant Redemption: A Steampunk Fairytale" was a complete self-publish effort. We wrote and drew, print and bound these books ourselves. Soon the tees took on a life of their own, and we eventually expanded into a full screen printing workshop.

Our clothing features the things we love best, from Art Nouveau to robots, steampunk and satellites. Everything is sweatshop-free and printed by hand in an eco-friendly and vegan workshop.
